WTT AAlchemy 8232 for V5 6k
08.01.12 at 19:57:23

Hi all, new member, long time 3dfx fan. I consider myself a collector and preservationist in terms of 3dfx items. I currently have a minty complete AAlchemy 8232 system. Keep in mind that these systems are hard to find and even harder to find with the hard drive present! These are the ones that have the 8164 cards with the infamously rare PSU. I am interested in trading one 8232 for a V5 6k card to complete my collection. I can add cash on top of this.

I understand the 3dfx community, especially when it comes to these ultra rare cards and the unwillingness to let them go, especially to a stranger. Rest assured, I am the type who considers these cards above all else and will not harm them in any way (ie overclocking, benching, modding, etc..). I believe Hank to be the only one who should mod these cards.

Very nice, it seems like any of these systems you can get your hands on have been wiped at the very least for security reasons Embarrassed

Good luck with the search, they are out there, hopefully someone will want to trade with you.  Smiley

With all due respect, glueing some heat sinks to a v56k does not make a mod like Hank's.

If you could succeed, trading a 3dfx item for another one instead of money, you would be the first I see in 10 years of collecting.

Good luck with your difficult task.

P.S. I have a PM Wink
