now im tryin to get me voodoo4 working in me comp which is an amd barton 3000+ and 1 gig of ram so no problems there i think, BUT the xp driverz are shit and dont run nothin, i want the hacked driverz what driverz do i want for xp?

his mobo is fsb 133 wich is ddr 266. is proc is 133 as well an its all workin ok, not exactly shit off a shovel lol but its ok for him!

ive got the driver for me voodoo4. cheerz omega m8! BUT ive got problemz! lol nothin opengl is workin only direct3d, quake3 and cs wont work now! the opengl subsistem is shagged! lol  any ideas m8z? i think i instaled wrong! cheerz.  8)

I noticed CS wont runs on the newest Amigamerlin too. The cure is MesaFX. This "advanced" little masterpiece of dborca will let you run CS properly.

I will take it step by step:

first you need to download MesaFX itself. Just take the newest if you dont know what to take.

Then you will need to extract all the files to a new folder. I would advise to only use the opengl32.dll file. The rest you can throw away again.

After you extracted opengl32.dll you will need to move it to the CS folder. Assuming you are using Steam the default for this is :

D:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\username@provider.com\counter-strike\

Now you will notice that the mouse dissapears in the Steam menu when you load the game. To solve this problem open the console with (~) and type :  vgui_emulatemouse 1

Then play CS all the way 

As for Quake3, it should work just fine. Try putting the opengl32 file in your Quake folder maybe it helps.

Well thats weird..I have never been banned and I put the opengl32 in the Steam folder.

ill try the mesa3dfx and wickedgl things later thanks for the info geezas, not worried about being banned from steam tho as i only play with podbot, not on the net, and steam is a big load of wank! cs is the same as ms xp now! 1.5 was L33t!

falconly that is alot of addresses m8!!! the doc must be a uk bloke then? heel get all of us in england banned the way hes goin the crappity smacker. i think you shoud ignore the bloke and just keep deletin his mesages then heel get bored and jus giv up and go an play with his 'advansed kernal' or what the crappity smack its called!

Well I'm sure I can articulate in a 'considerably more advanced' fashion that that of yourself, little man.  I now notice that you post your petty insult after you believe that I am banned and will not read your response.  Naming your site after your ridiculous nickname obviously causes you to believe that you have reason to make posts like a pompous ass.  Just remember that there is always someone, or in your case very many people, out there alot better than you, we all have to face up to this sooner or later.
