Voodoo 3 3000 AGP with black heatsink

A little bit special: a Voodoo 3 3000 AGP with black heatsink. I don't recall seeing this before. The V3 3500TV also has a black heatsink but with a part cut off.

Note that not all the pictures in the eBay ad. belong to this card.

Picture for future reference:

Interesting, I've never seen this before.

Right, in the pictures there is at least two different cards, the one with black heatsink and one made in China. Can not understand why people do this in the ads...

Maybe the heatsink it's simply painted by the original owner, from what I see in some areas the pain is not there anymore and you can see the original silver color.

Or the entire heatsink was replaced, I have seen a lot of cards with heatsink replaced, one example:

The picture with 'Made in China' is probably a mixup (or lazyness) by the seller; in one of the other ads he/she sells a Voodoo 3 with 'Made in China' sticker.

It's either a bit damaged or a very good paint job. Inside the holes that don't have pushpins it's black as well and the black matches the black color of the V3 3500TV.

Very nice, Varus.

It also lacks a capacitor in the right top corner. Does the card work? And what is the PCB date of that card?
