Now here's the question. Faced with a choice between the 3dfx babe, or a voodoo 5 6000, what would you choose? I didn't pit this between her and a Rampage as Iwanted to give her a chance Cheesy

Well it can take me some time (job, family...etc). Anyway - i'll do my best because here in Poland the winter holidays are coming and i'm a teacher of biology.  Grin So maybe there will be some free time for my private interest.

I hear you loud and clear buddy.  Take your time, building a 3dfx rig is all about having a sense of accomplishment when it is complete.  Also, when you take your time you get to fiddle faddle with more things.  It's cold in Minnesota today... 5º today, with the wind chill its like -15º, which actually isnt that bad at all.  It just makes me feel like staying indoors and playing with my rigs Smiley  Just got my MAC V4 4500 PCI, and successfully flashed it to PC bios and all is well.  Whew, I have had a few bad flashing experiences in my day Smiley  damn those trench coats  Grin

Sorry to revive a year-old thread. @rottentreats: I noticed one of the V2 pairs, the brown ones... What brand are them? Because I have one that looks identical and I do not know the brand.
I am a newcomer to Voodoos, just recently aquired 2 different V2 boards, both with 12 Mb. 10 years ago I would have donated one of me balls for a V2, but back then I was a poor college student with barely enough money for booze!  Grin

Don't be sorry... Sometimes these old threads need a good poke. ...

Glad to see that people are still reading old threads like this one. Smiley

My brown V2's are actually 12MB Joymedia Apollo 3Dfast II's, and that's about all I know.

... ...

I hope that is the answer you were looking for.  Wink
