Post pictures of your ride(s) thread

I thought it would be kind of cool to have a thread of cars people drive here. I'm slightly curious. Smiley

Here's mine.

1998 Nissan 200SX S14a - 2 litre turbo intercooled SR20DET blacktop engine, 200BHP, rear wheel drive, LSD.

Still standard. I've had it for a week and lorry backed into it whilst parked. Rear quarter panel repair scheduled by insurance company. You can just about see the dent on the fourth pic. Broke down same evening with fuel pump trouble. Replaced that now with an H-dev walbro equivalent pump  and runs really well.

Next up is moving the horrid orange front indicators to the sidelamps (bit of dremeling and fiddling). Remove foglamps. Remove UK number plate plastic brick and get a jap plate (what's supposed to be on there anyway). Clear side indicators. Some blue LEDs on the dash, standard looks like sticky tape bulbs lol. Get touring spec front splitter and side skirts. Respray wiper arms. That will be it for the next couple of weeks as money is tight. The 200sx badge on the boot is now removed. Front badge will be as well, but will need filler as it will leave behind pin holes.

One or two bits to come in future. Hopefully in future Stage 1a which should equate to 290-300BHP. First handling and weight saving mods when I've got some money. Been wanting this car for the good part of a decade. Full service history as well. Pulls very hard. Very happy.

What can I say, a dream come true. It's every bit as good as I thought it would be, even at standard. It really brings such a big smile on my face, and really gets my blood pumping. I can just stand there and watch it for ages. Beauty. My favorite car ever.

Nice ride indeed Tim!  Car sure must be fun to drive, and it looks great too.  Smiley

I have a 2004 Cadillac CTS with the Luxury Sport package. (Wood grain on steering wheel and shift knob, Sun/Moon roof/Heated Leather/17" wheels/etc)  It's got a 3.6L LY7 V6 (255 hp) engine that can lay rubber for as long as I keep my foot on the gas.  (being rear-wheel drive this thing is a beast)  Now that it's winter, the car is all about having fun.  Cool

And now for the obligatory pics of the beast..

So so nice! That V6 must have a lovely sound as well. When I made this thread I secretly hoped you would put some pics up.  Cool

Yea mine is fun to drive as well, bit of wiggling off the tail at wet intersections etc, but it's quite good in the dry. Classic drift machine, but would need some mods for hard (track) driving.

The daily beater- Neon with a 2.0l with a 5-speed, average mpg 30-33 (38 pure highway)

...

Work truck- 1998 Dodge 1500 with a 5.2l magnum (230 hp plus minor mods) used for dump runs, towing and the odd trip to hardware stores.

...

Yup... even the odd trip down the track.

...

One of my first musclecars- 1970 Plymouth GTX with a 440. At one time it had a 4-speed now has an automatic and is going to have a 4-speed again! Car is slated for a major redo starting this year.

...

Running down the highway a few years ago...

...

The current project- 1974 with a modifed 5.9 magnum from a 1994 Dodge ram. Engine has aftermarket heads, Crane roller cam, HS roller rockers and Edelbrock intake manifold. Car is slated to have its modifed 904 automatic pulled in favor of a late model overdrive unit from a truck this year.

...

Right after I was done applying the white stripes...

...

Project I'm hoping to get started on this year- 1967 Dart which will have a forced inducted 5.2l magnum with a 4 or 5-speed manual transmission.

Ah good old American muscle cars, nothing will ever match the style and quality of such works of art for the road.  Cheesy

This statement would be completley true if they didn't make cars outside of America.  Tongue
America does make the best American muscle cars.

Daily driver; Renault Twingo Authenique 1.2 from August 2008. Second picture is taken in the middle of the night with full moon and only citylights on.

...

...

"Sunday driver"; Pontiac Chieftain from 15 September 1949 with 4.1L straight-8 flathead. Car is in very good condition and rides like charm. Unfortunately the dynamo broke down so now it's not going anywhere. It broke down on the day I bought it and I had to drive around 250KM with the broken dynamo. It caused some damage but I hope it will still work fine with a new bearing.

Very nice cars Gary. Always wished I could have a muscle car. Thandor, that is one very nice ride. It looks like you are out in the sticks there, nice and quiet Dutch countryside? Nice and straight roads for a nice Sunday drive. Gorgeous. Smiley

One or two things done to the car. Might not be to everyones taste, but it makes the car look more mean. Window wipers have now been sprayed matt black and look great again. Also, clear side indicators have been fitted, and it's now without the big dent. Also an A'pexi induction filter fitted.

Soon an Eibach pro spring kit will be fitted to lower the car and optimize handling. The Nissan Silvia in Japan was a true sports car, the equivalent 200sx here in Europe was more build as a relaxed tourer. Handling is a bit too vague now.
