Display problem with 3dfx voodoo 1

Hi everyone. I would like to ask your advice on the following problem :

I have a win 98 vintage pc with a Rage IIc and a 3dfx voodoo 1 that was working like a charm.
I decided to switch tower (damn me) to a more suitable late 90's looking one.
But now when I start the computer, the display doesn't show anything and goes to sleep. I tried with another monitor and it shows : "check cable".
So my 3dfx apparently has no output.

Maybe I wasn't gentle enough when I moved it to the new tower but I want to believe it's not broken.

I can still start the computer by connecting the vga cable directly to the rage IIc (on the AGP port). On windows, the drivers (I got'em from here thanks btw) seem to show that the device is working.

I really don't know what's going on. Did I forget to change something in the BIOS (I don't remember if a CMOS reset occurred because of a weak battery or not). Maybe something else.

Halp

You might check to see if your new computer's BIOS has a setting to specify whether to boot graphics from AGP or PCI.  It's possible that it is set for PCI, and because you have the Voodoo in place, the operating system doesn't bother to look at the AGP slot as the primary adapter.
