The funny thing is, I first read about it in the UK version of the magazine PC GAMER, a few days earlier before eyeing this online preview.  Except throughout their entir article, they referred to it as Unreal Torunament 2006! 

From what we've seen so far of the game, I would not take it as Gospel.

If the game is to be released either sometime, late next year, or after that, the game is not likely to be based on DirectX anymore.

After DX9, Microsoft are on course for abandoning DX in favour of new foundation software.
