Hallo guys,

I have two V5500 and will sale one. The question is...which one to keep??

Here the specs of the Cards:

Card 1: PCB Rev A
            ICT - T2 9
            Bios: 1.06
            RAM: Hyundai HY57V653220B TC-6
            OC max (?) 205MHz

Card 2: PCB Rev A
            ICT - T1 11
            Bios: 1.06
            RAM: Hyundai HY57V653220B TC-6
            OC max (?) 191

The Card two is with orig. box.. but not so good in OC as the Card one... Which one to Keep....

Thx in advance for help guys...

The box is in no way related to the card.

You can do as NitroX suggested without regret.

P.S. Can I ask you PCB date codes of both cards? Just curious...

@goriath
where exactly I can find them? I am not so sophisticated with, collecting the 3dfx cards not so long. Do u have a directory of "best/rarest" issues from 3dfx?

Thx in advance.

On the Voodoo5 5500 you can find them on the back of the card just up to the white 3dfx logo; PCB date codes are composed by four number, the first two represent the week of production, the last two the year.

For example:

'2300' PCB date code is from a Voodoo5 5500 built on the 23rd week of year 2000.

I personally would keep the card in the best physical condition then. (or one with fans that make less noise if that is applicable)

Please do let us know which tool you are using to overclock.  If I recall, there are a few tools that only overclock the first GPU... (I use VSA100_OC and KoolSmoky's V_Ctrl to ensure *all* GPU's are overclocked)

Additionally I have one Voodoo2 with FCCID 600-0027-02-B, so far so good, in the database is this FCCID for Hercules Stingray Voodoo2. But... the PCB is black (the pic in database show card with green PCB).

The Voodoo Graphics card is a Skywell Technology Magic 3D.

The Voodoo2 could be a Skywell Technology Magic 3D II.

The green one is an Eagles Voodoo Rush and the blue one most likely a Skywell Technology Magic 3D Rush Lite
