anyone have info about 3dfx obsidian2 90-2440

obsidian2 90-2440 numbers on white label on square chip. 2 different ones.one is 546-0014-02 the other is 546-0024-02. midway off road thunder & hydro thunder games require the 546-0024-02 to work the one with 546-0014-02 will not work.was told something to do with security in game.but some used different cards,s-12.x-24.banshee,raven.but i dont know if certian chip numbers ard required.anyone have info on this.
