I for my part thought it was funny.
I've done my tour of duty in a smelly desert myself but didn't lose my humor over it.
Maybe it's the detail that I know, that none of us should have ever been there in the first place (all a big lie, unfortunately one that alot of good people died over) that makes the difference.
IMHO we should grab all our corrupt politicians and dump them in those deserts. Then (for once) it would hit the right people.
