It finally decided to work. I have a new question, since I have been using this voodoo5 card the ability/ compatability with games depended on the driver. Raziels evoulution driver worked for most games and a game called tumblebugs but not with halo. Now with the SFFT driver and windows xp this game has graphic consequences, literally. You can download the demo of this game from zone.com and see how circles become squares. Is this a driver issue? It has an option to enable opengl or D3d. Would changing this to open gl and downloading mesa fx make a difference???
*sheesh, I should of just bought a geforce 2 card

make sure your D3D driver core (3dfxvs.dll,rightclick&properties/version/product version) is 29 or newer.square lens flares are a typical issue of older SFFT drivers (28 or older).see screenshots
here

oh.missed that out somehow.I'll try to look at it at friday,I have day off.unless I spend the whole day sleeping or something.
try switching to opengl and see what opengl driver works best (3dfx ICD,mesafx,sage,wickedgl)..
edit: SFFT A35 is
online
,make sure to update your driver.see if this doesnt help with D3D.

ok,here is a fix for you:
-have SFFT A35 installed (dont forget to use that
opengl package
,after installing SFFT,extract it to your windows/system32 folder)
-download the
texture management utilities
,extract the archive
-run TmOff.exe,reboot
-run tumblebugs in D3D mode, and it will work ok.
