ok,it seems like the v5 was overheating a bit....btw,any idea why I cannot edit my own posts in this thread?

what do u mean exactly with overheating ?
the v5 is running hot normaly. Did he measure the temp ?

what else he remark, and how much time did the v5 run in the slot ?

a voodoo3 run in the agr slot ? can he try ?

yeah,he measured it and it was more than usual,he had to add extra cooling to keep the temperatures at standard levels.anyway,he doesn't have the board anymore,so no further testing can be done-basically,he scrapped the project as soon as he found out that no extra performance can be gained this way,as k7 barton running on a kt333 chipset board gives almost identical performance,and without (potentially) risky mods.
